With a Master’s Degree in Communication, I am a registered Counsellor (ACA), Emotion Coach for kids and teens (University of Melbourne), hold a Professional Certificate in Adolescence Counselling (Monash University) and certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy practitioner from the Equine Psychotherapy Institute of Australia.
What made me - me
First driven by open curiosity for humans, I discovered the beauty of The Other living in Italy, Greece, U.K., Canada, India and Australia. Always instinctively connected with nature and animals (from a land turtle to cats, dogs, horses, hamsters, to a ferret buddy), in later years I started seeing the deep connections among all creatures; in making the world we all share a better place and understanding the base value of all relationships. Love, actually?
My rocky road started with myself immersed in the horse land since early childhood, thanks to my fathers’ passion for these beautiful friends.
Soon after, moving to leisure riding at 12 years old, a fall and a spine surgery did put an end to my dreams. Clearly, though, there was something else cooking for me (thank you Meg!).
My next turning points were the divorce of my parents and the sudden death of my father. Only then, I understood the invaluable gift of mental health support and the healing power of meaningful relationships.
